Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” Breaks A New Record For Gucci Mane

Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” lands on the  Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 this week, featuring artist, Gucci Mane.

The track, jumped from #16 to #9 this week, serves as the highest-charting song that Gucci Mane has ever appeared on. Lil Wayne’s “Steady Mobbin,’” another of Gucci’s high-profile features, peaked at #48 following its release in 2009. Guwop’s own highest-charting single is “Wasted” featuring Plies, which reached the #36 position, also in 2009.

The recent buzz  of “Black Beatles’”  has successfully started a social media frenzy called #MannequinChallenge, the latest in viral videos that features people freeze-frame on film. The large majority of #MannequinChallenge videos that have gone viral feature “Black Beatles” playing in the background. Would a good way to keep letting the song build on the charts.
